determineはbe determined to ～「～を強く決心する」という使われ方もするので、
併せて抑えておきましょう。

今回追加された4文目を見てみます。

今までのように「彼らは、彼女らは、それらは」などの内容は変わらず、新しい意味が加わったということになりますね。

単数代名詞「they」の動詞はどうなる？

これは自分の考えも入っていますが、今まで通り変わらずに

だと思います。

これまでも不確定な人(たとえ一人だと想定出来たとしても)を指す場合などにtheyを使う場面は珍しくなく、今回も同じような考えで大丈夫だと思います。(間違っていたら修正します)

Both are beautiful lessons, passed down from ancient wisdom.

So today, we embrace the limitless potential now before us: to cooperate on new frontiers of technology, space, infrastructure, defense, commerce, diplomacy, and many other areas of shared promise.
