【英語】obvious / apparent / evident（明らかな）の意味の違いと使い分け

obvious・apparent・evident はすべて「明らか」を表しますが、確信の根拠が異なります。obvious は誰の目にも明白、apparent は見たところそう見える、evident は証拠に基づいて明白という違いがあります。

まず定義の差

• obvious: 直感的に明白で疑いにくい
• apparent: 外見上・現時点でそう見える
• evident: 事実・証拠から明らか
