☆ポイント☆「道路」を表す一般的な単語。アスファルトで舗装され、信号や標識などの設備が用意されており、人や車などが快適に通行できる舗装道路を指す。また「目標への道」というニュアンスもあり、例えばthe road to win「勝利への道」などといった使い方もある。
