☆ポイント☆「疑わしく思う」という意味。特に悪い事や犯罪的なことなどあまり好ましくないものに対して使うことが多い。I think〜と言い換え可能。

doubtの意味と用例文

→[名]疑惑、疑念、疑い
☆ポイント☆「疑わしくないと思う」という意味。「疑わしいとは思わない」とも訳することができ、否定的なニュアンスがある。I don’t think〜と言い換え可能。

suspectについては
especially something bad
(特になにか悪い事)
something bad has happened or is happening
(悪いことが起きたり起こっていること)
someone is probably guilty of a crime
(有罪や犯罪の恐れがあるもの)
などの説明があります。「何か悪い事が起きたと思う＝疑う」という意味ですね。
doubtについては
something may not be true or that it is unlikely
(真実では無い、またはありそうも無いこと)
to not trust or have confidence in someone
(信頼または人を信用しないこと)
という説明に「そうでは無いと思う＝疑う」というニュアンスを汲み取ることができます。
suspect/doubt例文比較
I suspect that the man did.
私は彼がやったと疑っている。
I doubt that the man did.
私は彼がやったということを疑っている。(彼がやったとは思えない)
